We will collect money at morning drop off and pick up on Fridays through October 6th. You can also drop off cash/checks in the MSSA office. Checks should be made out to MSSA PTO. We need parent volunteers to help collect money! Sign up here!

Where will your money go?
$10,000 for field trip busses and admission
$2,000 for beautification
$3,000 for teacher appreciation expenses. This includes a monthly lunch or breakfast, teacher appreciation week, and food on evenings teachers stay late for conferences, etc.
$5,000 discretionary spending for software for education or learning assessment and classroom supplies. We have purchased TCAP calculators in the past, for example.
Projects we would like to fund with your help.
$10,000 for replacement/loaner devices, chargers, etc. These devices cost $600/each and providing a loaner prevents kids from falling behind due to lost or faulty devices.
Marquee signage for Holmes Rd. We do not currently have any signage for the school. This has not yet been priced out, but they are expensive.
Several classrooms still need to be renovated at about $9,000 each with new boards, flexible seating, etc.
The new teacher's lounge could use a few renovations.
Before moving to its current location, MSSA was able to fund field trips with money made from parking revenues for events at the fairgrounds. Now, all of that funding needs to come out of the PTO budget.
Our school receives NO Title I funding, so we depend on the money raised during this PTO drive to finance these extras for our kids.

Since this is our only fundraiser, you and your child will not need to sell candy, popcorn, or wrapping paper or hit up family and co-workers to sponsor any type of -thon. This is our one opportunity to really help the school serve our students to the best of its ability. Donations accepted now through October 4th! We need help! Please sign up to help collect funds on Fridays!
